Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers

A high energy collective with diverse musical influences, the award-winning Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers play raucous reels, soaring airs and everything in between. Featuring music from (but not limited to) Scotland, Canada and Scandinavia, they represent the best of community music.  MSFC was the brainchild of the infamous Judy Turner, founder and Director of CresFest, and is now run by her former students. Approaching its 30th anniversary the group is stronger and funnier than ever, with a raft of young talent that will knock your socks off. They will be joined by Fiona Ross and the Glenbrae Scottish Dancers.

CresFest acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we live, learn and work, the Dja Dja Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
