CresFest: Made for Musos by Musos

Post 1 – Introducing our blog

Have you ever wondered what makes a festival special? What gives it the edge? We reckon there are a few things that help – programming, obviously being number one, venue/s being perhaps number two, and general vibe being number three? Sound is right up there, and so is look and feel, and then there’s the welcome provided by hosts and volunteers. At CresFest ALL of those elements are made doubly effective by being brought together by a bunch of musicians.

You think we’re exaggerating, perhaps? Well, check out team CresFest, below, and meet the musos who brought this little festival roaring into life directly after Covid. Week by week we’ll introduce you to the wonderful musicians who make up our team, and they’ll talk about the artists they’ve loved getting to know at CresFests 1 through 4, and who they are most looking forward to encountering at CF5 in April 2026.

WE KID YOU NOT – OURS IS A MUSICAL TEAM!

Artistic Director Stella Savy

And that’s not all. Week by week, we’ll be featuring our team members in this blog, so you can get to know them, their musical tastes, and why they’re excited for CresFest 2026.
