The FgO brings songs from Eastern Europe to the Balkans and beyond, celebrating music from the regions in a dozen regional/national languages. Inspiring, evocative, exuberant and heartwarming – this eclectic group of gifted musicians combine to create a unique experience for the listener. Our singers enthrall audiences in a warm embrace of the cultural diversity that typifies this great country. The FgO has been fortunate to play at the Big Stages of White Night (Birrarung Mar), repeat performances at Federation Square to open the Vic Seniors’ Festival, and are a regular feature at the Vic Night Market.
