Anousha Victoire played CresFest 2024

A weaver of everyday dreams, second generation Australian singer-songwriter Anousha Victoire tells poignant stories across cultures and time with her trademark fingerpicking guitar style and bell-over-water clarity of vocal tone. The ABC-award-winning songwriter has entranced audiences large and small. Reflection and joy are recurring themes through Anousha’s songs. After winning two ABC Newcastle Music Awards, for Folk and World music, Anousha received airplay across the ABC local radio network before going on to perform at festivals such as the National Folk Festival, Wollombi Festival, St Albans Festival Planet Dungog. She also performed at Women Out Front at Woodford and the Basement Club. Anousha brings a taste of the diversity of contemporary Australian culture, performing songs in Australian accent or in the French language of her father’s family.
