Jen Hawley’s Gypsy Jazz Jam played CresFest 2024

Join Alec Umansky (guitar) and Jen Hawley (guitar) for a cranking gypsy jazz/manouche. They’ll be playing the favourites from the Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grapelli’s songbook, with a nice mix of contemporary tunes played at jams across the world! Alec runs the longest running jam in the southern hemisphere, currently meeting once a month at the Caulfield Rotunda. Jen is a member of the Royal High Jinx, seeded the Creswick Ukestra and is a busy bee in many musical projects.

CresFest acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we live, learn and work, the Dja Dja Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
