MarimbaTaters

Victoria

The MarimbaTaters are talented young musicians and senior primary students from Tate Street Primary School, East Geelong who love to play marimba! They play rhythmically complex and exciting African-inspired marimba tunes. Led by Dani Rocca and accompanied by Adam Burke.

The band has performed at Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Geelong After Dark, Pako Festa, CresFest’s Election Day Fiesta and many more. You’ll be inspired by their enthusiasm and musicianship. Opportunities to learn from them will be provided for the young and the young at heart.

CresFest acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we live, learn and work, the Dja Dja Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
